Nondiscrimination Statement
The College has instituted policies and certain procedures to ensure a safe environment free of unlawful discrimination, harassment or retaliation and to meet legal requirements of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and other federal, state, and local laws.
Any student or employee who believes they have been a target of unlawful discrimination or harassment, as defined in the College’s policies, or who has witnessed such unlawful discrimination or harassment, must immediately report it to the Title IX Coordinator or file a report. The College will promptly investigate the matter and take appropriate corrective action when necessary. Complaints concerning sexual harassment and inappropriate sexual conduct will be handled through the procedures outlined in the College’s Title IX Sexual Harassment Grievance Procedures. All other complaints of discrimination will be handled through the procedures outlined in the College’s Nondiscrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy and Procedures. Your complaint will be kept as confidential as practicable. The College prohibits retaliation against any individual for filing a complaint or assisting in a complaint investigation. If you perceive retaliation for making a complaint or your participation in the investigation, please report the incident to any of the individuals listed below.
